National Alliance on Mental Illness - Washington Coast Affiliate supports those working towards mental wellness, their families and friends, advocates for mental health at local, state, and national levels, and hosts community mental health education programs. NAMI Programs NAMI Connection Support Group NAMI Connection is a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding. Every Friday, 2:00 PM at Shops By the River NAMI Family to Family · For family members, partners and friends of someone living with a mental illness · 12-week course, two hours once a week. "Before I took the course, I felt alone and overwhelmed dealing with my daughter’s mental illness. By taking this course, I have met others who are going through the same things I am and have learned about many resources that I never knew existed." Call to be placed on waiting list.
